SENNYBRIDGE SHEEPDOGS TO 2400gns
The 34th Annual Autumn Sale of Working Sheepdogs at Sennybridge enjoyed record average prices witnessed by the largest crowd ever seen on a glorious October day bathed in Autumn sunshine.
The top price of 2400gns was paid by Seamus Gormley of Northern Ireland who took home a 21 month old registered trial bitch from J H Jones of Aberystwyth, who also sold two others for 1250 & 1120gns.
The young Games family from Crickhowell turned out three exceptional dogs peaking at 2200gns for a registered 12 month old dog selling to H Watkins of Llanfyllin, Powys. Regular seller Trevor Morgans of Brecon sold a powerful 2 year old bitch at 1620gns to Jason Tucker of Monmouth and John James of Llandrinod Wells again produced another quality young dog selling at 1500gns to Tony Rofe of Cornwall. 39 Dogs average £944.
