The town of Clydach is located about 5.5 miles north east of Swansea city centre. Its population in 2000 was 7,500. Clydach was recently made part of the City of Swansea, Wales with an aggregate population of 230,000.The village is popular with families due to the availability of good Welsh and English language schools and as a result of its close proximity to the M4 and the City of Swansea.

Morriston (Welsh: Treforys) is a town in the City and County of Swansea, South Wales. Morriston is now the most populous of all Swansea's suburbs. The town is centred around the main Woodfield street, an extremely busy and congested shopping street during the day. Woodfield street runs in a north-south axis.
Morriston Hospital, the largest in the Swansea area, is located at Cwmrhydyceirw, approximately one mile north of Morriston town centre. All British driver registration is handled by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency which also is located in Clase, a suburb west of Morriston Town and is a major employer of local people.
The Morriston Orpheus Choir has an international reputation as a male voice choir.

Port Talbot (Welsh: Aberafan or Porth Talbot) is an industrial town in South Wales, with a population of 35,633 in 2001.Port Talbot is within the Aberavon electoral ward and is a community in Neath Port Talbot county borough.
The town grew out of the original small port and market town of Aberafan (English name Aberavon), which belonged to the medieval Lords of Afan. It built its wealth on the abundance of coal in the vicinity and on the abundant water available in the River Afan to power machinery and operate the docks.
