Agricultural Matters
Of late we have experienced some of the hardest years in British Agriculture. The restrictions imposed on the industry have severely impaired many traditional farming practices. It is essential that decisions are based on sound advice and forward planning. We are able to offer our clients the following services.
Farm Business Advice
We can provide assistance and advice in all aspects of farm management including the preparation of Farm Business Tenancies, grant applications, tenant's rights, tenancy disputes and IACS matters.

Compensation
We advise and represent landowners who are affected by proposed development including new roads or road widening schemes, new gas, water, oil or sewer pipelines or damage caused by existing apparatus. In most of the above circumstances our fees are paid in addition to any compensation obtained.
Compensation Claims
The presence of a new road, close to your home, could reduce its value.
Part 1 of the Land Compensation Act 1973 allows for claims to be made, in certain circumstances, for the reduction in value of your home due to factors such as lights, noise, dust and vibrations arising from the use of the road.
Compensation settlements will depend on the extent of such factors and their effect on the value of your home. We have successfully negotiated payments for thousands of homeowners across the country ranging from as little as £150 up to £37,000.
In all cases the client will keep 100% of their compensation payment and no financial outlay is required. If we are unsuccessful, then the issue of our fee will not arise and we will simply close our file on the matter.
